Corrections Policy

Our Commitment to Getting It Right, and Fixing It When We Don’t

Accuracy is central to everything we publish on Gluco Extend, especially because our topics relate to health. No publisher is perfect. Research evolves, sources change, and mistakes can happen. This Corrections Policy explains how we identify, review, and correct errors, and how you can help.

Affiliate Disclosure: Gluco Extend is an independent informational website and affiliate publisher. We are not the manufacturer or seller of the Gluco Extend supplement. We may earn a commission on purchases made through links on our site, at no additional cost to you. See our Monetization Policy.

1. Why This Policy Exists

This policy supports the standards in our Editorial Policy. We believe readers should be able to trust that:

  • Errors will be taken seriously, not ignored or quietly hidden.
  • Corrections will be clearly communicated when they matter.
  • Commercial interests will never be a reason to leave inaccurate information in place. See our Monetization Policy.

2. What We Consider an Error

We treat the following as errors that call for review and correction:

  • Factual errors: incorrect statistics, dates, names, study findings, or descriptions of how the body works.
  • Outdated information: content that no longer reflects current research, regulation, or product details (for example, changed ingredients, pricing, or seller policies).
  • Misattributed or misrepresented sources: a citation that does not support the statement it is attached to.
  • Misleading or overstated claims: language that implies more certainty or benefit than the evidence supports, or that could be read as a claim to treat, cure, or prevent a disease.
  • Missing or unclear disclosures: an affiliate relationship or health disclaimer that is absent or not conspicuous.
  • Technical issues affecting accuracy: broken links, wrong images, or formatting problems that change the meaning of the content.
  • Misuse of AI-assisted tools: inaccurate content traced to AI-assisted drafting. See our Artificial Intelligence Use Policy.

What is not an error: a difference of opinion, a disagreement with a conclusion that is supported by cited evidence, or a personal experience that differs from what research describes. We still welcome these comments through our Feedback Policy process.

3. How to Report a Possible Error

If you believe something on Gluco Extend is inaccurate, outdated, or misleading, please tell us.

To help us review it quickly, please include:

  1. The title and URL of the page.
  2. The specific statement you believe is incorrect.
  3. Why you believe it is incorrect, ideally with a link to a credible source (for example, a government health agency or peer-reviewed study).
  4. Your name and email, if you would like a reply. Reports can also be anonymous, but we may be unable to follow up.

Please do not include personal medical information in your report. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.

4. How We Review and Correct

When we receive a report, or when we find an error ourselves, we follow these steps:

  1. Acknowledge. We aim to confirm receipt within [3–5] business days when you have provided contact details.
  2. Assess. The editor reviews the claim against credible primary sources, such as agencies like the CDC, the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, and the FDA, and peer-reviewed research through PubMed. For background on who reviews content, see our Editor Profile.
  3. Decide. We determine whether the content is inaccurate, outdated, unclear, or accurate as written.
  4. Correct. If an error is confirmed, we fix it and, where appropriate, add a correction note (see Section 6).
  5. Respond. Where you have given contact details, we aim to let you know the outcome.

5. Response Times by Priority

PriorityExamplesTarget action
High (reader safety or legal compliance)Wrong guidance that could affect health decisions or medication; a claim that a supplement treats or prevents a disease; a missing affiliate or health disclosureReview and correct as soon as possible, within [24–72 hours] of confirmation. We may temporarily unpublish the content while we fix it.
Medium (factual or source errors)Incorrect statistic, misattributed study, outdated regulatory statementWithin [5–10] business days
Low (minor issues)Typos, broken links, formatting problemsWithin [10–20] business days, or during the next scheduled review

These are targets, not guarantees. Complex issues may take longer, and we will explain why where we can.

6. How We Label Corrections and Updates

We use a clear, consistent approach so you can see what changed.

  • Minor corrections (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed without a note. The page’s “Last updated” date may change.
  • Substantive corrections (changes to facts, figures, conclusions, or claims) are marked with a visible note on the page, such as: “Correction ([Month Day, Year]): An earlier version of this article stated [X]. This has been corrected to [Y].”
  • Significant updates reflecting new research, regulation, or product details are noted with an “Updated on [date]” line and, where useful, a short explanation.
  • Content removal. If an article cannot be corrected without losing its basis, we may remove it. Where practical, we will leave a brief notice explaining that it was withdrawn and why.

We do not silently remove or change significant statements in a way that could mislead readers about what we previously said.

7. Corrections Related to Affiliate Content and Product Information

Because Gluco Extend is funded by affiliate commissions, we apply extra care to product information:

  • Product details change. Sellers may change ingredients, pricing, packaging, guarantees, or policies. If we learn of a change, or if you report one, we update our content. Please confirm current terms with the seller before purchasing.
  • Disclosure errors. If an affiliate disclosure is missing or unclear, we treat it as a priority correction in line with the FTC’s Endorsement Guides.
  • Health claims. If a statement could be read as claiming that a product diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents a disease, we revise or remove it, consistent with the FTC’s Health Products Compliance Guidance.
  • No commercial veto. Sellers and manufacturers do not decide whether we correct our content. A seller may point out an error, but we assess it independently against credible sources.

8. Corrections Related to AI-Assisted Content

We may use AI-assisted tools for limited tasks, and all content is reviewed by a human before publication. If an error is traced to AI-assisted drafting, we correct it in the same way as any other error and, where relevant, review related content for similar problems. See our Artificial Intelligence Use Policy.

9. Requests Not Related to Accuracy

This policy covers factual accuracy and clarity. Other requests are handled through other channels:

  • Privacy requests (access, deletion, opt-out): see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • Copyright concerns: see our Terms of Use.
  • Product orders, shipping, refunds, or side effects: contact the seller directly. We do not sell or ship products. If you experience a possible adverse reaction to a supplement, stop using it, speak to a healthcare professional, and consider reporting it to the FDA through MedWatch. Readers outside the U.S. can contact their local health authority.
  • General comments or suggestions: see our Feedback Policy.

10. Our Responsibility and Your Role

We take responsibility for the content we publish. We also recognize that readers often notice things we miss. If you help us improve a page, thank you.

Please remember that our content is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Statements about dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have a health condition or take medication, speak with a qualified healthcare professional. See our Terms of Use.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Corrections Policy as our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest revision.
